چکیده
Abnormal behavior in nonhuman primates is oftentimes prematurely blamed on certain conditions, the case of captive non-human primates, readily so their husbandry, largely ignoring underlying pathophysiological processes brain. Each life history shapes an individual's predisposition to develop or resist development a psychopathological disorder, which manifests itself abnormal when triggered by situations conditions. In order sustainably address symptoms psychopathologies, therapeutic approaches must be based structured, comprehensive diagnostic procedure, including behavioral and functional analyses, research into history, personality assessment..

Behavioral abnormalities in captive nonhuman primates.
In this study, we dealt with 11 species of nonhuman primates across 10 zoos in India. We recorded behavior as instantaneous scans between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. In the study, we segregated behaviors for analyses into abnormal, undesirable, active, and resting. The 4 types of abnormal behavior exhibited included floating limb, self-biting, self-clasping, and stereotypic pacing. In the study, we recor...

Cell biology, since the advent of the electron microscope and sophisticated techniques of biochemical analysis and synthesis, has advanced in giant steps that find even experts in the field hard pressed to pace. With the voluminous literature of the discipline, the interested layman or scientist of a different field can easily get lost on the side-roads, losing sight of the general direction. T...
متن کاملHematopoietic stem-cell behavior in nonhuman primates.
Little is known about the behavior of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) in primates because direct observations and competitive-repopulation assays are not feasible. Therefore, we used 2 different and independent experimental strategies, the tracking of transgene expression after retroviral-mediated gene transfer (N = 11 baboons; N = 7 rhesus macaques) and quantitation of the average telomere len...
